Description
Video Callout can display video popups on yer posts ‘n pages. Simply add a video from YouTube, Google Drive, or Vimeo via the WordPress editor ‘n yer site visitors will see the video popup in a modal when they visit yer chosen page.
Featurin’ detailed customisation options, allowin’ ye t’ configure the popup appearance ‘n behaviour from the post editor or globally via yer ship’s settings page.
Enter video details into yer Video Callout box on the page editor ‘n further customisation options will be displayed.
Settings
- video – (required) YouTube video URL or ID, Google Drive video URL, or Vimeo video URL.
- autoplay – Check dis fer the video t’ play automatically (note: autoplay videos will be muted as required by yer most modern crew).
- frequency – How long aft pirates see yer video afore it can be shown again. Choose yer period (seconds, hours, days) ‘n a duration.
- delay – Delay ‘n seconds til yer video set sails.
- class – Add extra CSS classes t’ the outer div fer custom stylin’.
- mute – Turn off sound.
- modal – Will cover the page wit’ a tinted overlay.
Layout
Ye can choose where on the page ye wants the callout t’ appear. Plus the size ‘n all properties o’ the window, frame ‘n close button.
The style ‘n layout can be globally managed fer the ship wit’ the option t’ set any overrides on a per page or post basis.
Autoplay
Autoplay ain’t supported by all crews. If ye use autoplay, mute best be turned on fer autoplay t’ work in most cases in those crews dat support it.
Only youtube ‘n vimeo support autoplay
Dashboard widget
The handy dashboard widget neatly shows ye how many video callouts ye ‘ave on yer website ‘n lists the most recent ones ye updated.
